The Carnduff Integrated Library is the first fully integrated school/public library in Saskatchewan with participation between the Southeast Regional Library and the Carnduff Education Complex.
We offer a wide selection of books in all categories and are continually bringing in new material. The materials that the Carnduff Education Complex have amassed are also available for the public to borrow. We offer downloadable eBooks and e-audiobooks, magazines, access to almost 7000 online journals and magazines, audiobooks on CD, reference material, free online access to 2200 newspapers in 54 languages and immediate access to over 400,000 digital movies, music and eBooks. Access to material is provided province-wide, so if there is an item we do not have at our branch, it can be ordered in for you. A Library card will be needed in order to utilize this service. You can do this from the comfort of your own home, or ask someone at the Library to do it for you.
The library has six public access computers for public use, but it is strongly recommended that the public phone ahead for appointments when school is in session.
Our library has an "Artist Corner" where all artists, local & surrounding, can display their handiwork whether it be needlework, painting, drawings, etc. The students from the school from time to time will display their creative workings.
The library offers a number of programs and services throughout the year, some of which include:
-
Author Readings
-
Meetings
-
Summer Reading Program
-
Story Hour every Thursday morning from 10:-11:00am for preschool children
-
Geneology Club
-
Book Club
-
Children’s Activities
-
Adult’s Programs
-
Cultural Events
-
Lego Club
There is an external book drop beside the front door & materials can be dropped off after open-hours. The external book drop was a fund-raiser for the library in 2006 & with the generosity of community members & businesses, it became a reality in August of that same year.
Come in and sign up to become a member - the resources of the Southeast Regional Libary are amazing!
