Waterworks

Water Utility is billed every quarter.

Following is the rate outline for waterworks charges for residential and commercial properties WITHIN the town limits:

Consumption Charge
0 to 6,000 Imperial Gallons $155.64 Minimum
6,001 to 21,000 Imperial Gallons $10.44 per 1,000 Imperial Gallons
21,001 to 36,000 Imperial Gallons $11.83 per 1,000 Imperial Gallons
36,001 to 999,999 Imperial Gallons $13.23 per 1,000 Imperial Gallons

Following is the rate outline for waterworks charges for commercial and residential properties OUTSIDE of town limits that has had a water meter installed:

Consumption Charge
0 to 6,000 Imperial Gallons $186.77 Minimum
6,001 to 21,000 Imperial Gallons $12.53 per 1,000 Imperial Gallons
21,001 to 36,000 Imperial Gallons $14.20 per 1,000 Imperial Gallons
36,001 to 999,999 Imperial Gallons $15.88 per 1,000 Imperial Gallons
 
Water rate for water passing through a municipal line to a temporary residential or commercial un-metered service shall be:
$155.64 per billing or $51.88 per month.
 
Water sold from the Town's reservoir, as general water sales shall be at the following rate:
$0.05445 per gallon

2015 Waterworks Financial Overview:
 
-- Total waterworks revenues (R) - $675,077
-- Total waterworks expenditures (E) - $383,084
-- Total debt payments on waterworks infrastructure loans (D) - $75,405
-- Comparison of waterworks revenue to expenditures plus debt payments, expressed as a ratio - 
    ($675,077)
    ($383,084) + $75,405 = 147%
-- For 2015, waterworks revenues covered 100% of the waterworks expenditures.
 
The following additional information is available at the municipal office on the waterworks:
-- The June 1, 2006 waterworks rate policy and capital investment strategy
-- Capital plans in place and related sources of funding for the projects as set forth in the Five Year Capital Plan of the municipality.

     ($379,310) + $72,955 = 128%
   
 For 2014, waterworks revenues covered 100.0% percent of the waterworks expenditures.

Sewer

Sewer Utility is billed every quarter.

Consumers who own or occupy premises drained or required by bylaw to be drained into the Town's sewage system shall pay for such a Billing Rental or service charge based on water consumption in accordance with the following:

6,001 to 999,999 Imperial Gallons $6.16 per 1,000 Imperial Gallons
