Saskatchewan Library Week October 21-26
The Carnduff Public Library has some exciting things happening next week in celebration of Saskatchewan Library week! Take a peek and be sure to join in the fun!
Here's a list of what we have happening at our branch:
Tuesday - 6:00pm - Lego Contest between children and adults - each group will be given a theme and then they build - build - build for 40 minutes. We have over $100 in Lego prizes to give away! Snacks provided. This is a free program - come and have some fun!
Wednesday - 6:00pm - We have a Filipino guest coming to teach us how to make delicious spring rolls. There is no cost - open for all ages - free samples!
Thursday - 3:30pm - Craft Corner - free program for children ages 5-12. The craft will be Halloween-themed!
All Week - Book & Bake Sale - Fill a plastic shopping bag with books for only $3.00. And while you are picking up your books you can stock up on some yummy baking (butter tarts, gingersnaps, chocolate chippers and much more!)
All Week - Book Spine Poetry Contest - open to all ages. Use the titles of books to create a poem - take a picture and submit it and you could possibly win a $100 Chapters Gift Certificate!
