Diamond Jubliee Winner

On January 29, 2013, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities selected Mayor Ross Apperley to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal in honour of his volunteer contributions. The FCM recognizes the important role that municipalities play in ensuring and maintaining the continued prosperity and high quality of life in communities throughout Canada. Ross was one of 60,000 very deserving recipients across Canada to be awarded with the Diamond Jubilee medal.
