EMO Update at 9:00 p.m.
We just finished an EMO briefing meeting and we have the following information to share:
There will be support services at the Carnduff Education Complex tomorrow for anyone wanting to access that service. We will let you know when they arrive or you can leave your name at the registration desk.
The Evacuation Centre at the Carnduff Education Complex will be open tonight until 10 p.m. and will
be open again tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m. Meals will be provided all day tomorrow. Please please utilize this if you need. If you are in need between those hours, please call 306-482-8205.
For those in town that are cleaning out basements, there will be large bins here tomorrow morning to dispose of the material. There will be a separate bin for the wood materials and the rest will all need to go in the large red bins. The bins will be located on Railway Avenue (same place as the big recycling bins used to be).
The Ireland bridge is still closed at this time. No access is available.
The Highway 18 Bridge at Viterra is still closed as it is compromised. STAY AWAY.
We hope to have another update tomorrow morning by 9 a.m. with road closures/hopeful openings. We do hope that we have seen the peak of the water.
