Homecoming Meeting Held

At our meeting on April 27th many plans for the homecoming were finalized.

Registration: To date we have 50 people registered for this event. We discussed how important it is for the preregistration so that we can give numbers to the caterer for supper.   A registration form was sent out to homeowners through the town with the recycling letter and hopefully this will encourage some to register.  Also there are extra forms at the Post Office – Bank of Montreal – Affinity Credit Union and forms can be printed off The Town Website. DEADLINE for Registration is June 30, 2015 to guarantee the Catered supper meal on Saturday 18th.  Remember the weekend pass also includes the beer gardens Friday, Cabaret Saturday and the Pancake breakfast on Sunday.

Volunteers:  We will need volunteers to help with registration, the beer gardens, set up and clean up.  Lists for the different volunteer positions will be available at the Carnduff Drug Mart.  Please stop in and sign up for a shift.  Many hands will make light work!

Parade:  Also discussion on the Parade to date they have not had many sign up so will put out posters to encourage Business- Groups- and individuals to sign up for the parade.  Also a reminder that Borderline Housing is making the plastic flower can call 306-482-3424 to order flowers.
